Have you ever looked at people and noticed they probably haven’t been home in a long time?
Sometimes their appearance says it all, tan skins, long hair full of colorful braids, beat up shoes, cloths from different cultures, you name it. To me, they are some of the bravest people in the world… One can be a traveler, and then one can be a long-term traveler, or a nomad as I see it. Have you also ever wondered what made them choose life on the road and calling the world home? I once saw a short video; it talked about the brain being stimulated all the time when one travels. It gave reference to a child, when we were young, everything was new to us and the brain was active. Eventually as we grew up, the brain became accustomed to our life of routine, and the brain activity also became low. If we think about it, we are not easily amazed right? There are very few things that make our mouths drop. Then, it gave another reference to travel. When one travels, we experience new things all the time; we are always taking in new sceneries, hearing new languages, and meeting new people. So, have you ever wondered why they got their things and left? Well each have a special story behind them, and I am on a quest to know why! Why they decided to start a new life, a life full of wonder, amazement, fear, desire, and happiness. I want them to give me courage to start my own long-term journey of life on the road! CategoriesAuthorHello, I am 21 years old. Fascinated with the struggles of life and the beauty that comes with them. I travel not to pin point places on a map, but to discover the true essence of humanity and what makes each one of us uniquely beautiful. All I want to do is breathe the air around me as I go. Just to breathe life in :) Archives
